Mumbai: Writer-director Neeraj Pathak was directing Bhoot Unkle
and had finished shooting 90 per cent of the film before he quit following creative differences. The film however has been completed by presenter Sumeet Sehguls’ brother Mahesh. Bhoot Unkle now release on October 6.
The film revolves around a little boy and his friends who accidentally resolve a mystery and meet a friendly spirit called Bhoot Unkle played by Jackie Shroff. It’s a story of their tryst to save their town from the looming danger.
Bhoot Unkle, a Sumeet Sehgul presentation in association with Ikon Pictures & WAM Motion Pictures is produced by Aneesh Arjun Dev and Krishan Chowdhary. Indian rapper Baba Saigal has forayed into music direction with this film.
The story has been written by Aneesh Arjun Dev, with screenplay by Rajiv Agrawal & Veeru Shahane and dialogues by Mukesh Ramani.
