Casino Royale to release with 500 prints in India

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures’ much anticipated Bond film Casino Royale will have a global release on 17 November. The film will release with over 500 prints in India, thus making it the biggest ever print count for a Hollywood film in India. This will also surpass Sony’s own Spider-Man 2, which was released with 304 prints.

Casino Royale will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu thereby creating an opportunity for the masses to see 007 in action.

Sony Pictures Releasing India managing director Uday Singh says, “17 November will see the biggest roll out for any
Hollywood film in India as we would like to give our audiences the thrill of seeing Casino Royale along with the rest of the world. Our endeavor is to make it the biggest and best Bond film ever. James Bond has a huge equity in this country and his films have always been a hit here.”

Casino Royale is the 21st James Bond adventure. The movie stars Daniel Craig in his debut as 007 and is based on Ian Fleming’s first novel to feature the ultimate secret agent, which was published in 1953.
