MUMBAI: The much awaited film Don, which was released in the UK on 19 October has opened to rave responses in its previews. The first set of figures for Farhan Akhtar’s movie have come in.
According to reliable industry sources, the film is said to have grossed more than £33,000 on its previews yesterday (19 October) in the UK on 45 screens. UTV, which is handling the overseas distribution of the film has released the film with over 300 prints in the overseas market.
In the UK screens, the tickets are priced in the range of £5 to £9 depending on the theatres.
Don stars Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Isha Koppikar and Arjun Rampal and was released in India today (20 October). The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and is directed by Farhan Akhtar.
