MUMBAI: UTV has signed on director Imtiaz Ali (of Socha Na Tha fame) to direct Rockstar, which has John Abraham in the lead role. The music of the film will be composed by A R Rahman.
“Rockstar is a love story with rock music as a backdrop. The shooting for the film will start in a couple of month in Delhi and other international locales,” says Ali.
Ali also informs that the budget of Rockstar has not yet been finalised as it depends on the locations that the film will be shot in.
