MUMBAI: The Art Directors Association of India got together on 23 February at Film City to elect its new 15 member committee. All the members of the art directors association were present for the elections.
The 25 people who stood for the elections were: Nitin Chandrakant Desai, Anand Baburao Shinde, Shammi Tiwari, Dilip Pithva, Jayant Deshmukh, Navin Shetty, Chokas Bhardwaj, Anil Sahaney, Baban Kharat, Madhukar Kamble, Murli Babukao Shinde, Vittal Ghate, Satnu Yadav, Sashikant Mhaske, Gladhar Sawant, Prashant Laharia, Prabhakar Behera, Sudhakar Manjerekar, Dipak Mistry, Rangalao Chougle, Shyam Dey, Ajay Bhagat, Bapurao Nichal, Digambar Talekar and Sanjay Jadhav
Among these, the 15 who were elected were: Nitin Desai, Anand Baburao Shinde, Shammi Tiwari, Dilip Pithva, Anil Sahaney, Baban Kharat, Murli Baburao Shinde, Vittal Ghate, Satnu Yadav, Prabhakar Behera, Sudhakar Manjerekar, Dipak Mistry, Ranga Rao Chougle, Shyam Dey and Sanjay Jadhav.
Art Directors Association present joint secretary Shammi Tiwari said, "These 15 people will now decide as to who is to be the president, general secretary, joint secretary, vice president etc. This decision is yet to be made."
