INX unveils channels’ brand identities

MUMBAI: Indrani Mukerjea’s INX network today unveiled the brand identities of its three channels – 9X: Hindi general entertainment channel, 9XM:  Hindi youth music channel and NewsX: English news channel.

 


The three channels are scheduled to launch in the last quarter of 2007.


 


The graphics of the new logos bears an interesting link across the new channels. While 9X is dynamic, contemporary and passionate, 9XM has a youthful and irreverent attitude. Red Bee Media, that works extensively with the BBC, has created the NewsX logo, which communicates clarity and modern style.


 


INX Media’s group director, brand and communications Anthony Pettifer said, “We are extremely pleased with the results. We have an iconic symbol that will break through the clutter and we will now go forward to build on this foundation with equally strong brand communications.”


 


INX News CEO Vir Sanghvi said, “We believe that this design powerfully captures the promise of a quality news channel of the highest international standards.”


 


INX Media head of fiction Kumud Chaudhary added, “The 9X channel logo places the channel content in the right perspective – dynamic, warm and emotional, connecting with the evolving sensibilities of the families of India today.”
