MUMBAI: Pritish Nandy Communications’ Pyar Ke Side Effects will complete 50 days of theatrical release on 3 November. The film stars Rahul Bose, Mallika Sherawat and Ranvir Shorey and marked director Saket Chaudhry’s debut.
In its sixth week the film is still running in multiplexes across the country. On 27 October, T-Series released the home video for the film.
The release of Pyar Ke Side Effects had been delayed by a few months due to pressure from distributors. Nandy says, “My distributors kept discouraging me from releasing the film. Neither did they want it to clash with the other big films nor did they show confidence in the lead pair Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose. But I must mention now, that, all the films that released before and after Pyar Ke Side Effects did not fare as well. So in spite of the delay in the release, Pyar Ke Side Effects was a winner at the box office.”
The VCD is priced at Rs 160 and DVD at Rs 399. It also includes edited scenes and promos of the film.
