MUMBAI: Ishqiya and Manorma Six Feet Under are to be screened at the Dainik Jagaran Film Festival starting from 29 May, 2010.
Ishqiya stars Vidya Balan, Nasiruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi and is directed by Abhishek Chaubhey and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj. Manorma – Six Feet Under has been directed by Navdeep Singh and stars Abhay Deol, Raima Sen, Sarika and Gul Panang among others. Besides the two films, Bazaar directed by Sagar Sarhadi too will be screened at the film festival.
The travelling film festival, DJFF, will be organised in 13 cities across India by Dainik Jagran. The idea behind this film festival is to take a wide range of cinema right from Bollywood to world cinema to the door steps of those admirers of cinema in different Indian cities and towns who cannot come to Metropolitan cities. DJFF will start on 29th May in Lucknow and then will travel to 13 cities before culminating in New Delhi in September 2010.
