MUMBAI: After the success of Garam Masala, producer Ratan Jain of Venus has repeated director Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar to direct his next. Akshay has charged Rs 65 million (Rs 6.5 crores) to act in this movie. This film will, once again be a comedy, which is slated to begin soon.
“I have repeated Priyadarshan to direct my next after he delivered a hit in Garam Masala. Talks are definitely on with Akshay Kumar. He has liked the script and we are waiting for his green signal. I cannot comment on the price that he will be signed for the film. The film will once again be a comedy and will commence the shooting most probably in February 2007,†says Ratan Jain.
