Johar’s KANK heads to Germany & Japan

MUMBAI: Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, which has grossed $12.5 million, received a standing ovation at the Toronto International Film Festival.


What’s more, the film is headed for Germany, where it will be screened in the first week of October. After that, KANK will be also screened in Japan at the Tokyo Film Festival.


Johar is also the first Indian maker to be invited to Poland, as a judge for the 56th Miss World contest on 30 September.


Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta said, “We are overwhelmed with the kind of response KANK has got. I’m proud of Karan and his achievements.”
