MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Koena Mitra has been made the new brand ambassador for the state of Jharkhand. Mitra was approached by Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda for the same.
The actress appealed to NRIs and people of Indian origin to invest in Jharkhand, calling the state the jewel of the east.
“I am a daughter of the east and want to invite all the NRIs and the people of Indian origin to visit Jharkhand and invest in the rural infrastructure in the state,” Mitra said.
Mitra attended the function to help promote the brand Jharkhand in various potential sectors of the state.
