Korean trade fair offers incentives to Indian film & TV ind.

MUMBAI: The Gwangju Ace Fair 2008 – Gwangju Art, Contents & Entertainment Industry fair 2008 being organized by KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) will be offering various incentives to the Indian film, television, animation and gaming industries.

The fair will be held from 4 – 7 September, 2008 in Korea.

The Film & Television Producers Guild of India will be coordinating the Gwangju Ace Fair 2008.

KOTRA had approached the Guild to synchronize the participation of its members for the congregation, which is an opportunity for exhibitors and buyers/importers to showcase their products at global level and for procurement of broadcast, animation, game, edutainment contents, audiovisual, character.

KOTRA has offered incentives for exhibitors to display the strengths of Indian animation, game, broadcast, audiovisual and content creation, and to Indian buyers / importers to explore the new technologies available in the global market prior to procurement from the emerging Korean market.

Last year the conclave had attracted more than 150 companies from across the globe.
