MUMBAI: Actor Kunal Khemu has been signed on to star in Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision’s forthcoming film, which will be directed by Rohit Jugraj.
Khemu has been paired opposite Tulip Joshi in the film. Sources say the film, yet untitled, will be made on a medium budget, and will commence shooting in and around Mumbai shortly.
Joshi, who debuted as Sanjana in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai in 2002, has featured in Matrubhoomi in 2003, Dil Maange More in 2004 and Shoonya in 2006. Khemu made his debut as the leading man in Kalyug in 2005 and followed it up with Traffic Signal last year.
Shree Ashtavinayak had last released a rib-tickler Golmaal.
