Lara Dutta ‘Jhooms’ with 250 special kids

MUMBAI: Cinemax and Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) recently provided a “Ticket to meet Lara Dutta” to 250 special children. The kids also enjoyed a special screening of her latest release from the Yash Raj Films’ stable Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.


Says Cinemax marketing and programming vice president Devang Sampat, “We wanted to celebrate the grandeur of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and there is no better way to rejoice than to watch these kids smile and enjoy every bit of their life. We also thank Lara Dutta who stepped in spend quality time with these children.”


Says CPAA director Anita Peter, “These kids come to this city for the treatment from this deadly disease and are confined to the four walls at their Dharamshala. We strive to offer them a memory they can cherish forever, Meeting a star like Lara Dutta is a dream-come-true for them.”


Dutta, who was present to share this moment with the children, distributed chocolates, drawing books and crayons to the kids.
