Madholal Keep Walking to screen at Third Eye Asian Film Festival

MUMBAI: Madholal Keep Walking, a film based on human emotion that has the Mumbai train blasts as a back drop, will be screened at the 8th Third Eye Asian Film Festival to be held in Mumbai from 4 – 10 December.

The film will be screened on 8 December and has been directed by Jai Tank. The Asian Film Festival is aim to bridge the gap between the Asian Film fraternities and promote Asian cinema. NCPA executive director Vijaya Mehta will inaugurate the festival.

Over 100 feature and short films from 24 countries like Turkey and Japan to name them few will participate in this one week long festival.

The film features Subrat Dutta as Madholal Dubey. Dutta is a Kolkata-based theatre actor, who has won the Best Actor award in the 8th Osian Cinefan Festival 2006 for the Bengali film- Bibar. The movie also stars Neela Gokhale, Swara Bhaskar and Pranay Narayan.

Subrat Dutta also won the Best Actor award in Cairo International Film Festival, 2009, where the film was nominated in completion category.
