In respect of the film ‘JAIL’ people at large and more particularly concerned with the trade, I hereby inform that my client “M/s. Harsh Raj Production” have filed Suit Lodg. No. 1700 of 2009 before the Hon’ble High Court, Bombay, against Mr. Madhur Bhandarkar, Manij Tyagi, Percept Pictures Company, Bhandarkar Entertainment and others.
It is a case of my client that she is in business of film production carried in the name and style of M/s Harsh Raj Production and accordingly on representations made by Mr. Madhur Bhandarkar and Mr. Manoj Tyagi & others as Director and Writer, my client had started with film titled “JAIL” starring Suniel Shetty & Fardeen Khan of which necessary movie was commenced and despite my client having invested lakhs of rupees Mr. Madhur Bhandarkar, have failed to direct the film for himself and since my client is the copyright holder, by filing the Suit she has claimed that the film produced by Mr. Madhur Bhandarkar & Percept Picture Company should not be released.
The said matter appeared before Hon’ble High Court on 01/07/2009 when a statement was made by the defendants that film would not be released till July 2009 and accordingly now the matter has been kept for hearing on 15/07/2009.
The present notice is issued to place the facts on record and despite this, if any person deals with said film, shall be doing so at his own risks and consequences, whatsoever.
