MUMBAI: Actor Manoj Bajpai will be seen again after a long break in director Suparn Verma’s Acid Factory, produced by Sanjay Gupta’s White Feather Films.
The film, which was shot in Cape Town and in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Rao Studio is a complete action packed thriller. Bajpai had taken a break and cut down on the amount of work, he will be seen again in a completely new look in the film.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com Bajpai said, "I would not call this my comeback film because I did not go anywhere. I was right here, it was just that I had to cut down on the amount of work I did as I was nursing a frozen shoulder. But yes, now I am back and really excited about Acid Factory. I have a new look and have always loved the films made by Sanjay Gupta because he makes the men in his films look really good!"
"This film is also special for me because my wife Shabana is doing a special appearance in the film," he adds.
Director Verma says, "The audience will see a completely new Manoj Bajpai. This role is kind of a reinvention for him and he has done complete justice to the role."
Besides Bajpai, the film stars Danny Denzongpa, Irrfan Khan, Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivdisani, Dino Morea and Dia Mirza. Acid Factory is slated to release on 2 October, 2009 by Mumbai Mantra.
