MUMBAI: Star and StarHub Digital Cable will soon air Star Gold in Singapore on StarHub’s digital cable platform. To be launched on 4 October, the channel will become the first and only dedicated Bollywood movie channel in Singapore.
From it’s large Indian film library, Star Gold brings to South Asian viewers in Singapore a wide variety of the Bollywood blockbusters. The launch also bolsters Star’s current Indian channel offering of Star Plus and Vijay on StarHub Digital Cable.
Star senior vice president, distribution and marketing Gautam Kiyawat said, “We are excited to expand the reach of Star Gold from India to Singapore. This launch enriches Star’s offering of top programming choices in Singapore and enables the local audience to experience a new league of top-flight Bollywood blockbusters.”

At launch, Star Gold will showcase a number of Bollywood hits, including, Baabul, Bhagham Bhag, Shootout At Lokhandwala, Awaarapan, Naaqab, Apne, Chain Kuli Ki Main Kuli, Red and Life Mein Kabhi Kabhi.
