In the latter category, the entry could be of any genre. Producers get a chance to compete for the prestigious Golden and Silver Ten Awards in each category, says an official release. The FICTS consists celebrities like Michael Periera, Shobaa Dey and Sarika.

Ritesh Sinha, who founded Ten Films India, has made War or Peace, a film that was distributed in India by Columbia Tristar Films. Says Sinha,”FICTS is a non-profit organisation with over 99 countries as its members. Sport Movies and TV has the patronage of the IOC (International Olympic Committee).”

Adds Sinha, “We will screen and exhibit 80 films from all over the world, out of which 15 films will be from India.”
