My Name Is Khan to be telecast across DTH platforms in India

MUMBAI: The Shah Rukh Khan starrer My Name Is Khan will be telecast across all Direct To Home (DTH) platforms namely Tata Sky, Dish TV, Sun Direct, Airtel Digital TV, Videocon D2H and Big TV. The movie will be aired on their Pay Per View (PPV) service and has been priced at Rs 50 per screening.

Videocon d2h will premiere the movie from May 27, 2010 as part of its Pay Per View offerings. Videocon d2h CEO Anil Khera said, "We want to present to our customers the very best which will ensure customer delight be it via our content, services and even technological advancements. Now view latest movies in multiplex picture quality and sound right in your living room."

Sun Direct has offered the film with an option to choose among six shows that will be broadcast on 29 and 30 May and 5 and 6 June. On the other hand, subscribers of Airtel digital TV and BIG TV can view this film from 27 May onwards.

The film also stars Kajol and is directed by Karan Johar, with screenplay by Shibani Bathija. It is produced by Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment and distributed by Fox Star Studios India. The movie released across theaters on 12 February, 2010.
