MUMBAI: N Chandra has undertaken to direct a film for an outside banner after a long time. He has been signed on by the T A Shah Group of Companies to direct its forthcoming, yet untitled film.
One song has already been recorded by music directors Sajid-Wajid in the voices of Pakistani singer Shafqat Ali Khan and Sunidhi Chauhan. The song was recorded at the Empire Studio on 14 January 2007.
“My last film with an outside producer was Shikari for Kishan G Kishnani. The T A Shah Group of Companies, which has recently released Risk, has signed me for their next project. Nothing has been finalised yet, but the film should soon go the floors,” says Chandra.
The director has already completed his home production Breaking News, which stars Perizaad Zorabian, Atul Kulkarni, Rajpal Yadav, Anupam Kher, Seema Biswas, Sayaji Shinde, Vijayraaj and Sarika, and was shot at real locations in Mumbai. The film is presented by Manmohan Shetty’s Adlabs.
