NDTV Imagine enters Middle East & North Africa

Mumbai: After its launch in India and the UK earlier this year, NDTV Imagine went live in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region. This is the region’s first free-to-air entertainment channel, reaching over 100 million homes through Pehla’s Channel Number 61.

Announcing the channel’s foray into the MENA Region, NDTV Imagine EVP revenue management and new ventures Harsh Rohatgi said, "We see a lot of potential for a complete family entertainment channel like ours, especially with the expat Asian population living in this region. We have received a lot of positive feedback and plenty of requests to make the channel available in key international markets and we are pleased to present NDTV Imagine to audiences in the MENA Region."

Viewers in MENA region will be able to watch the channel on Pehla at Channel Number 61. NDTV Imagine will shortly be available on evision and other cable networks of Middle East and North Africa and will be the first free-to-air Hindi entertainment channel in these markets.
