NDTV Imagine launches Ramayan music on physical & digital

MUMBAI: NDTV Imagine has joined hands with Universal Music and UTV New Media to launch the music of Ramayan on physical and digital formats respectively.

The music of the serial has been composed by Ravindra Jain and has been sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Suresh Wadkar amongst others. Universal Music will release the album this month.

UTV New Media, which has the digital music rights of the show, will release the content on digital platform in the form of RBTs, CRBTs, animations, themes and voice.

NDTV Imagine executive vice president business operations and content sales Gaurav Gandhi said, "Ramayan is a show that has established a deep connect with audiences across all age groups. The soulful music composed by Ravindra Jain will now be transformed into ringtones, caller back tones and themes, by which audiences will be able to get a complete musical experience of this great epic.
