NDTV Lumiere to begin screening films in Chandigarh

MUMBAI: NDTV Lumiere will begin screening its films theatrically in Chandigarh with the critically acclaimed Spanish thriller The Orphanage.

After theatrical releases across eight cities in India, Chandigarh will be the latest world cinema destination in India. The movie will be screened at Fun Cinemas, Mani Majra at 10.35 pm.

NDTV Lumiere business head Dhruvank Vaidya said, "We are very excited to start our theatrical releases at Chandigarh beginning with, The Orphanage, which was the highest grossing movie in Spain in 2007 and was its official entry to the Oscars.  We are confident that film lovers in Chandigarh who currently don’t have easy access to contemporary world cinema will greatly enjoy watching this film. With releases starting in Chandigarh, NDTV Lumiere further extends its association with Fun Cinemas."
