NDTV Lumiere to showcase 14 films at the 7th Asian Film Festival

Mumbai: NDTV Lumière will be participating in the Asian Film Festival 2008 by showcasing 14 of its films from 16 – 23 October at the Plaza Cinema, Y B Chavan and Fun Republic.

Some of these films are Under The Bombs which won Philippe Aractingi the Best Director award at the 2007 Venice Film Festival; Climates which was nominated for the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival 2006 and the Oscar nominated Half Moon, amongst others.

Sunil Doshi director NDTV Lumière said, "It is our pleasure to extend our movies to the elite Asian Film Festival and further expand the World Cinema movement in India. NDTV Lumière is delighted to present these movies that are a treat to the eyes and provide an exclusive opportunity for the audiences at Asian to savor some of our films like Climates, Breath etc."

These films will also be presented to the Indian audiences in the coming months across multiple platforms ranging from theatrical releases to home video and television.
