MUMBAI: Neil Nitin Mukesh is in jail, literally. No, he is not shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail and nor has he committed any crime. The poor actor is preparing for the role even though the shoot schedule is still some time away.
Neil looked rather robust for his Kabir Khan directed film, New York. For his next Aa Dekhe Zara, the actor shed some more weight. And now for Jail, Neil has lost all the fat from his body.
Busy getting into the skin of the actor, he says, "My jeans keep falling off as I have lost at least four inches from my waist and my jeans are really loose. But this is because my role in Jail demands a gaunt look. And it is tough to lose weight. I have been religiously hitting the gym to knock the pounds off."
Whatever the reason, it is a fitter looking Neil that will greet you when you see him next.
On the other hand, Bhandarkar is currently in Pune as he has taken time off to work on his script. He is planning out his next schedule, which begins in March.
