MUMBAI: Nikhil Advani has cut two and a half minutes from his film, Chandni Chowk to China. This news was confirmed by the film’s publicist, who said, "When Nikhil saw the film with audiences in Toronto, he felt that the film was a tad too long and so edited 150 seconds from the final print." However, this caused a major flutter as the film has a huge distribution set up.

Chandni Chowk to China Town is being released across 50 countries with 125 prints in the USA market. The subsequent edit had to be incorporated across all prints which sent everybody in a tizzy.

However, all’s well that ends well. And Nikhil Advani the perfectionist is now satisfied that the film’s length is to his satisfaction.
