MUMBAI: Director Nikhil Advani (Salaam-e-Ishq, Kal Ho Naa Ho) has joined hands with Mukesh Talreja for multiple film projects.
According to sources close to the development, execution on two of the projects will commence soon. “One film will be directed by Nikhil. Akshay Kumar and John Abraham will be the lead stars in this action flick. The next will be directed by Vikram Aditya, erstwhile assistant of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It will star John Abraham and Vidya Balan in the lead. Both the films are at present untitled,” says a source.
Neither Advani nor Talreja were available for comment.
With the release of Salaam-e-Ishq Talreja and Advani had started their own production house Orion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. Additionally, Talreja had also partnered with Sunil Manchanda’s MAD Films for the Salman Khan starrers Tere Naam (2003), Dil Ne Jisse Apna Kaha (2004) and Kyon Ki (2005).
