MUMBAI: After Pepsi, Panasonic has now appointed new breed actor Ranbir Kapoor as its brand ambassador.
Kapoor was signed by Pepsi last year despite the no-show of his debut movie Saawariya at the box office.
When contacted by Businessofcinema.com for his response, the actor refused to comment and preferred to maintain his silence until the official announcement. According to sources close to the development, the deal was inked a couple of days back.
According to information available with Businessofcinema.com, Ranbir was initially offered an endorsement deal of suitings brand, Parx. However, his father Rishi Kapoor declined that offer as he felt his son was destined for bigger things.
