MUMBAI: Paramount Films of India will be releasing the romatic musical comedy Mamma Mia! The Movie on 12 September in India.
Mamma Mia! is a film adaptation of the West End stage musical, based on the songs of successful pop group ABBA.
Mamma Mia! is about a bride, her mom and three possible dads. The cast includes Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper. The film is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and produced by Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman.
Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA’s songs from "Dancing Queen" and "S.O.S." to "Money, Money, Money" and "Take a Chance on Me," Mamma Mia! is a celebration of mothers and daughters, old friends and new family found.
The musical by the same name has been seen by more than 30 million people in 160 cities and eight languages around the world.
