Paramount to release Monsters vs Aliens on 17 April in India

MUMBAI: While there will be no new Hindi releases from 10 April onwards in Indian multiplex chains due to the on-going revenue sharing imbroglio, Hollywood films will continue to release in multiplexes.

DreamWorks Animation SKG’s animation movie Monsters vs. Aliens will be released by Paramount Films of India on 17 April across all Indian multiplex chains.

Monsters vs. Aliens, is a first InTru 3D movie, wholly conceived, developed and authored in 3D, has has voices by Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland, Rainn Wilson, Paul Rudd and Stephen Colbert. The film is directed by Rob Letterman and Conrad Vernon.

InTru 3D combines DreamWorks Animation’s proprietary authoring tools with the latest Intel technology, allowing artists to tell a more compelling story and give filmgoers a more exciting, immersive 3D movie experience.  The ongoing use of InTru 3D is a mature, enhanced medium that enables filmmakers a better way to tell their stories—in an entirely new and innovative manner. The movie is the first computer animated movie to be directly produced in a stereoscopic 3-D format instead of converting the film into 3-D after it is finished.
