Pix acquires 10 movies’ rights from NDTV Lumiere

MUMBAI: Multi Screen Media’s English movie channel Pix has acquired the satellite rights of 10 movies from NDTV Lumiere.

The movies are as follows: I’m Not There, Honey Dripper, Goodbye Bafna, Far North, Interview, The Hit, Control, Sheltering Sky, Blind Date and The Last Emperor.

Pertinent to note here is that NDTV Lumiere also has its world cinema television channel, which airs these films.

Pix business head Sunder Aaron said, "The newly acquired movies are a mix of innovative concepts, fine directors and actors, and are compelling stories that our viewers can look forward to. Reloading the Pix library is yet another step towards growth and moreover, the acquired movies perfectly blend into the line of movies that we offer i.e. movies with great storylines! Through these new wins, we have reinforced our position as the destination for the widest selection of movies that tell great stories."
