Pritish Nandy Communication’s FATSO to participate in IFFLA 2010

MUMBAI: Pritish Nandy Communication’s Fatso has been officially invited to participate in the 2010 Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) which will take place  20 to 25 April, at ArcLight Hollywood.

 

Entering its eighth year IFFLA is a non profitable organization devoted to a Greater appreciation of Indian cinema and culture by showcasing films honoring entertainment industry performers and business executives and promoting the diverse perspectives of the Indian Diaspora. The festival is headquartered at ArcLight Hollywood. Jury and Audience Choice Prizes will be awarded for Best Feature, Documentary and Short film.

 

PNC chairman and producer of the film Pritish Nandy says, "Fatso is funny, romantic, and magical. Rajat Kapoor is at his finest as a director, in the charming tradition of Raghu Romeo, Mixed Doubles and Mithya. Comedies rarely make it to top rung international film festivals. We are proud therefore that Fatso is going for its second big outing after New York.This time, in LA."

 

Fatso is all about love packaged in with a calorie count! and stars Gul Panag, Ranvir Shorey, Purav Kohli, Neil Bhoopalam, and Gunjan Bakshi. The movie has been directed by Rajat Kapoor.
