Mumbai: Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar, who share a great team equation, came together again to shoot for an advertisement for Manappuram Gold Loan. Kumar, who plays a simple man in the advertisement directed by Priyadarshan, just could not find the perfect pair of glasses that would complete his look. That’s when the director stepped in and offered Akshay his pair.
Few know that Priyadarshan has never parted with his glasses and this was the first time. Reveals a source, “Priyanji insisted that Kumar wear his glasses to complete the look. Kumar was very touched with his gesture”.
Priyadarshan has often praised Kumar as being the actor with the best comic timing recently also said "I’ve seen Akshay Kumar grow from Hera Pheri to Khatta Meetha.
