MUMBAI: T-Series’ next film, a comedy thriller directed by Priyadarshan, has been titled Bhool Bhulaiya.
The film is a remake of 1993 Malayam film Manichithra Thazhu, which was also remade in Telugu as Chandramukhi in 2005. The film revolves around a small village whose denizens are very conservative and superstitious. It is a blend of thrill and humour, and reveals many dimensions of the human psychology.
The film stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, Amisha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Vineet, Asrani, Vikram Gokhale and Manoj Joshi. The screenplay and dialogue of the film have been penned by Neeraj Vora.
The 41 day shooting schedule is set to begin on 18 February 2007 in Jaipur.
