MUMBAI: PVR Cinema and Visa Platinum have joined hands. Beginning this month, Visa Platinum and Signature cardholders who book a cinema ticket from PVR Cinema’s website will receive one free movie ticket for every ticket purchased online using their Visa cards.

Visa International Asia Pacific country manager Santanu Mukherjee said, “Visa’s Platinum and Signature cards have been developed to provide services and benefits that cater to both our cardholders’ business and lifestyle needs. We are proud to partner with PVR Cinemas in this unique program and we trust that our premium cardholders will enjoy being able to treat their family and friends at their next outing to the cinema.”

PVR Ltd Cine Media CEO Gautam Dutta added, “This association with Visa, marks a new chapter in bringing delight to customers, where-in they get a never before opportunity of getting tickets with this offer and watch movies in world class environment.”

The programme will be promoted through advertisements in leading publications, through Visa’s member banks, at all PVR cinemas. This offer is redeemable everyday for the next five months till 31 December, 2007 for all movie showtimes at PVR cinemas located across the country. PVR currently has 68 screens in Aurangabad, Bangalore, Baroda, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Latur, Lucknow and Mumbai.
