Pyramid Saimira opens Brahmin’s Kitchen

MUMBAI: Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd has inaugurated Brahmin’s Kitchen, the group’s first signature South Indian restaurant at the premises of Priyadarshini Theatre, in Palaghat on 11 January.


Speaking at the launch, Pyramid managing director P S Saminathan said, “Pyramid Saimira is focusing now on creating a niche for itself in the food and beverages segment. Brahmin’s Kitchen is the first of our initiative to being authentic traditional Brahmin food in modern format. We plan to take this across the world. Palaghat has given birth to a large number of traditional Brahmin cuisine and we are glad to start this journey from here.”


Pyramid general manager food and beverage Alok Kumar said, “Pyramid Saimira will focus extensively on food safety, hygiene and quality. Processes for complete safety, including regular biological/microbiological tests, medical tests for employees working in the kitchen, etc. will be put in place.”


Recently, Pyramid Saimira acquired a 51 per cent in the Mumbai-based Dimples Cine Advertising and Dimples Cine Activations. It also acquired Texas-based FunAsiA through its subsidiary Pyramid Saimira Entertainment America as well as an existing theatre and radio drive-time hours in Chicago and radio time in Houston.
