Radio City appoints Martin as national programming head

MUMBAI: Radio City 91.1 FM has appointed Nik Martin as its national programming head,


Martin, who hails from the UK, brings with him more than 22 years of radio experience including programme management positions at major UK media groups including Capital Radio, EMAP and BskyB.


His previous international work includes roles at Mediacorp (Singapore) and Channel 4FM (Dubai) where he was part of the launch management team for the first private radio station in the United Arab Emirates, says a release.


Martin will be heading the national creative team at Radio City and will be based in Mumbai. He will lead all national programming initiatives besides working on the program mix for Radio City’s upcoming stations. The focus of his assignment is to further build on the innovative never-done-before aspects of programming which the brand Radio City stands for.
