Radio City offers Mumbai cops rain protection

Mumbai, July 18, 2007 – Come rain, come storm – the Mumbai Traffic Police has always been vigilant in its duty to regulate the busy Mumbai traffic and to ensure the commuters reach their destination – hassle free! Recognizing their unwavering dedication and efforts, Radio City 91.1FM, India’s Leading Radio Network gifted 2000 protective raincoats to the Mumbai Traffic Police.


Speaking on the occasion, Shri Vijay Kamble, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Mumbai Traffic Police said, “Given the present weather situation, we would like to thank the people of Mumbai and Radio City in particular to recognize and value our efforts.”


Mr. Rana Barua, National Head – Marketing, Radio City 91.1FM said, “As pioneers to private FM in India, Radio City is not only an innovative infotainer but also an organization sensitized to the needs to the society we live in. This small gesture from us goes out to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Mumbai Traffic Police”.


Recognized as a radio station that has always stepped forward to contribute and appreciate the efforts put in for the betterment of the society, Radio City contributed 5000 raincoats to the Traffic Police in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi.
