MUMBAI: Ram Gopal Varma is ready with his film Phoonk 2, which is a sequel of his earlier film Phoonk.
Phoonk 2 has been made in three languages. In Hindi, the movie will be titled Phoonk – 2, in Tamil – Bommai – 2 and in Telugu – Aavaham.
The film has been directed by Milind Gadagkar and stars Kannada actor Sudeep, Amruta Khanvilkar and child actress Ahsaas Channa.
Varma said, "When Milind Gadagkar the writer of Phoonk came up with the idea of Phoonk-2 the opening sequence itself made me jump up in my seat. The moment I read the entire script I was convinced that he should direct the film as I was amazed at the clarity he had in detailing of the story."
Phoonk 2 is about a family, who is terrorized by a spirit seeking revenge.The film is slated to release in 2010.
