Ray joins BAG Films as chief strategy officer

MUMBAI: Amit Ray has joined BAG Films as chief strategy officer as a corporate resource working closely with the managing director and the core group. His first task would be to lead the launch of the Broadcast network starting with two TV channels.


Ray brings in 18 years of rich strategic experience in the area of media planning and buying, brand communication, marketing and the media business. He has worked with the most blue chip advertising agencies like JWT, Lowe, Mudra and also for India’s largest private sector corporate; Reliance Industries.


He has been part of the think tank of many successful brand (and brand launches) from various sector as varied as FMCG, Durables, Services, Finance, Telecom etc. as well as MNC, Indian Private Sector and Indian Public Sector.


Besides working in commercial organizations he also spearheads the Indian Readership Study – the bible of Indian Media Research, as the Joint Chairman of the Technical Committee. A role that he is been playing utmost sincerely for 10 years now.
