MUMBAI: Director Rensil D’Silva is working hard on his second script for Karan Johar’s Dharma Production.
The director has just finished writing the first draft of the film. D’Silva’s debut film Kurbaan, was produced by Dharma Productions and starred Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The film was set against the backdrop of global terrorism.
While declining to discuss the genre of his second film, D’Silva tells Businessofcinema.com, "I am still in the process of writing my script and I haven’t thought of who I will be casting because if I do so, then tend to slant it. Karan and I have been discussing the script and as soon as we are sure about it and agree on it, we will start thinking of the cast etc. Right now, I have only finished the first draft and there’s still a long way to go. Since writing is the most important part of film making I don’t want to rush it."
However, he said that the film is likely to go on floor in the earlier part of 2011.
