Renu Saluja film festival starts today

It’s festival time at Fun Republic. The Atul Goel run multiplex chain is running a three day festival at its Andheri theatre focusing on the work of the late famed editor Renu Saluja. Art house and commercial film fans can watch Saluja’s wizardry in movies by directors such as Kundan Shah, Dev Benegal, Ketan Mehta, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Shekhar Kapur, Govind Nihalani, Sudhir Mishra and Saeed Mirza.

The ticket prices have been kept at Rs 250 for 10 shows of the festival. Day passes are being issued at a sticker price of Rs 100. An interesting marketing ploy to get film buffs back to the cinema.
