MUMBAI: There seems to be no end to the dates-cordination problem for Housefull 2. The latest one hears, is that Ritesh Deshmukh and Boman Irani who play prominent parts in the sequel flew out from the comic location in London to host the IIFA in Toronto at the other end of the world. Moreover, since Riteish and Boman have scenes with nearly every member of the vast cast the Sajids (producers Nadiadwala and director Khan) have no choice but to wait the rest of the cast in London while Riteish-Boman regale audiences in Toronto.
A source tells Businessofcinema.com, “Sajid Nadiadwala had hoped that they would be able to get around the problem regarding Riteish and John’s dates.It was even hoped that the duo would this time relinquish their annual duty of hosting the global awards function as it clashed rather violently with the dates of Housefull 2 where co-ordination is paramount .But now there seems to be no solution to the problem.The Sajids and their superstars will just have to wait for Riteish and Boman.”
Co-ordinating the dates of 24 pivotal actors for Housefull 2 is turning out to be a bigger nightmare for producer Sajid Nadiadwala than he had ever imagined. The hassles of getting so many leading men and woman in London at the same time is proving more problematic than the producer has ever faced in his career.
