Mumbai: Recently while Riya Sen was finishing Rituparno Ghosh’s Abohoma’ in Filmcity, a final year direction student from Whistling Woods approached her to work in a short film being directed by him, as a part of the college project After much persuasions Riya agreed to act in the film.
During the shooting Riya fell sick due to the rigorous schedules & constant traveling and had a 102 degree fever. But empathizing with the dilemma the students go through, with a limited budget and time constraints, Riya continued to shoot despite her fever in Whistling Woods and Filmcity.
The student’s film is titled Guzarish where Riya plays the role of a wife torn between her husband and her ex-lover.
