Roy is vice chairman of Mobile Ent Forum

MUMBAI: Hungama Mobile MD and CEO Neeraj Roy has been adjudged one of the ’50 Most influential people in Mobile Entertainment’ across the globe for the third consecutive year.


Roy has also been elected as the Vice Chairman of the Mobile Entertainment Forum – Asia (MEF).


Roy has been selected as vice chairman as an endorsement of the efforts he and his company Hungama Mobile have undertaken over the past few years in taking Bollywood onto the mobile and digital screens around the world.


Some other names in the list include Paul Jacobs (Qualcomm), Steve Jobs (Apple), Dirk Wierzbitzki (Vodafone), Rikko Sakaguchi (Sony Ericsson), Dustin Moskovitz (Facebook), Wang Jianzhou (China Mobile) and Takeshi Natsuno (NTT DoCoMo).


Roy says, “I am extremely thankful to my fellow peers from around the world who have coveted the honor to me for the third year. Mobile and Digital entertainment is an integral part of the larger entertainment and media economies and in India it is at an inflection point.”
