MUMBAI: Saavn and Hulu have teamed up to stream Bollywood films.
The initial launch will include five Hindi films including Sarkar starring Amitabh Bachchan. All films include English subtitles and can be found at Hulu.com in the Feature Film category.
"Making some of the best Bollywood films available on Hulu is very exciting to us. One of Saavn’s goals is to make Bollywood more accessible for everyone and by having these films on Hulu, we believe that more people in the US will open up to the genre that is revered by billions around the world," said Saavn co-founder and CEO Vin Bhat.
Apart from Sarkar, the other movies that will be streamed are Hera Pheri starring Akshay Kumar along with Deewana starring Shah Rukh Khan. Also available with be the romantic comedy Hulchul and Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke. Saavn plans to release additional films on Hulu throughout the year.
