Mumbai: Producer Sanjay Gupta and team have gone to Philippines for location recce for the White Feather Films’ upcoming film Acid Factory directed by Suparn Varma.
Acid Factory stars Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Irrfan Khan, Danny Denzongpa, Manoj Bajpai and Dia Mirza. The film is 65 per cent complete and it has been extensively shot in Ramoji Studios in Hyderabad over a period of two months.
Gupta said, "Philippines is a beautiful place and I am amazed as to why no film has been shot there. The second schedule of the film was earlier planned in South Africa, but due to erratic weather conditions there we decided to shoot in Philippines."
Mahindra and Mahindra’s entertainment arm, Mumbai Mantra has acquired the distribution rights of Acid Factory.
