Sankat City director Pankaj Advani passes away

MUMBAI: Filmmaker Pankaj Advani who has directed movies like Sankat City and Sunday, passed away this morning (11 November) after suffering from a massive heart attack. Advani was 45.

He started his career as a scriptwriter for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. He has also directed a movie called Sunday for the Children’s Film Society, India. The movie starred Ratna Pathak-Shah and has also bagged two National Awards.

Advani’s last film was Sankat City, which starred starring Kay Kay Menon, Rimi Sen and Anupam Kher and was released last year. Team offers its condolences to his family and loved ones.
