MUMBAI: Saregama India chief marketing officer Gavin Dabreo has put in his papers at the company after a stint of two years.
Dabreo’s last day at the company was in mid-June. According to information available with Businessofcinema.com, he has joined as the chief operating officer of a venture captial funded company in the service sector.
Confirming the development to Businessofcinema.com Saregama India managing director Subroto Chattopadhyay says, "Gavin has been a very good resource to the company. He had very good consumer marketing capabilities and we wish him all the best for his new venture."
Dabreo adds, "I have moved on from the entertainment sector to the service sector as it was a great opportunity for me."
As far as a replacement for Dabreo is concerned, Chattopadhyay adds, "We haven’t yet found a replacement for Gavin but we are looking at hiring someone who has the capability to monetise and market our content to the maximum."
Prior to joining Saregama India, Dabreo has also been associated with companies like Tata Teleservices, FCB Ulka, Nerolac Paints and Agro Tech Foods.
